The Manager State  Bank of India

    Jeewaji Ganj  Morena

    Respected Sir,

I have been informed by M / s The well  Publications that my Cheque No. AMC-9879131 for Rs 12000 issued to them on 2nd March 2017  has been refused payment by your bank. The reason given by your bank for refusing payment is ‘not enough funds. The above-stated reason seems to be quite absurd as my previous cheque No. 4677 was cleared for payment about a month back, the balance in my account was Rs 10,00000. Thereafter, I deposited Rs 200000 in cash and also deposited a cheque for Rs 45000(No. 6829621 dated 16th March 2017 drawn on Syndicate Bank, which must have been cleared by now.

Therefore, I would like to know why my cheque has been dishonoured. You are requested to kindly look into the matter. Meanwhile, I am sending the cheque back to the concerned firm for deposit in your bank once again.
Kindly, apprise me of the decision taken by you in this regard

    Thanking you
    Yours faithfully
