Morena, 02 Feb, 20….. The annual function of Teresa Public School Jabalpur was held on 21 and 04 Feb. 20…Various programmes were organised on this occasion. It was inaugurated by the Education Minister of the State. He was given a warm welcome. The N.C.C. students gave him a welcome parade. Then he was garlanded by the Principal, staff secretary and secretary of the students union. Some V.I gentlemen of the town also garlanded him. In his inaugural address, the

Minister advised the students to give foremost attention to building their character and service to the nation. He exhorted that students should work hard so that they may have a shining future. He praised the Principal and the teachers. Then several literary and games activities started. The students were enthusiastic. In the evening, there was a cultural show. Many interesting items of dance, music and other events were presented by the students. The next day, a prize distribution ceremony was held. The Ex-principal of the school gave away the prizes to the winnérs of different activities. He was pleased that the school was progressing satisfactorily.

21 October, every year our school, St. Thomas School, Gwalior holds the annual function for prize distribution to honour the students who have achieved distinction in any field. This year our principal invited Mrs Samiksha Gupta, the Mayor of Gwalior, as the chief – guest. The school band played the National Anthem to mark the arrival of the chief guest The whole school was decorated with flowers, colourful bulbs and mottos on the walk Mrs Samiksha Gupta escorted by the Principal and other members of the school, was led to the dais.

The function started with an address of welcome by the chairman of the reception committee. After the chairman had read the welcome address, the Mayor came to the pulpit to deliver her address. He congratulated all the students who have achieved distinction and distributed the prizes. After the prize distribution ceremony, the students performed so cultural programs like English & Hindi drama, dances and some of the student’s melodious songs also. In the end, the school band played the National song followed by the National Anthem. After that, the chief guest rose to leave. He was again escorted by the principal and other members of the Reception committee to the school gate where her Car was parked.
