The harm that the polythene is providing to the environment has become well-known to us. Still, people do not completely discontinue the use of polythene bags to avoid inconvenience. Polythene bags are not disposable. They either end up in landfill or are burnt and in both the ways they damage the environment. So I decided to start a campaign against its use in our locality. People think polythene bags most convenient and inexpensive so some people do the business of polythene bags. I think the government should be ban selling of polythene bags. When people made first-time polythene bag it became soon popular because they did not know its bad effects.
It is extremely harmful because of non-degradable. If we throw waste polythene in the field drains and gutters also be choked by the polythene. When the drains and gutters choke its hamper flow of sewage, so this is harmful to our daily life and more bad quality of polythene is that if any stray animal eats it, the intestine will be choked and the animal would die so, we can Say No to plastic or Polythene bags.
