Importance of English as a language


English is an international language. It is spoken all over the world. With the invention of the internet, no country can depend upon its local language. It is the medium of understanding and study of science and technology.

In Trade, commerce, higher technical and scientific studies it is widely used as communication around the globe. With knowledge, a person can earn his livelihood. In spite of the irregularities in grammar and pronunciation, English is one of the most effective instruments of expression.

The western countries are far ahead of us in most of the branches of knowledge particularly science and technology. This knowledge is accessible to us only through English. To throw away English would mean to throw out the vast treasure of knowledge that we can get through this language. Knowing English is also necessary for international trade and in Creasing our exports.
